Lebanese Meat Empanadas

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 small onion, finely minced
- 1/2 lb (454 g) lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of allspice
- 1/2 tsp of black pepper
- 1/4 cup pine nuts (optional)
Equipment
- frying pan
- spatula
- cutting board
- chopping knife
Here is how:
- Heat oil in frying pan.
- Sautée onions for 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef, salt, spices and pine nuts.
- Cook for 15 minutes, until meat juice is clear.
- Set aside and let cool down.
- Make easy pizza dough or thaw phyllo pastry sheets to make beef savoury pastries.
